Have you noticed the little image that appears on the browser tab? that little image for those of you who don’t know is called “favicon” (short for favorite icon), also known as a shortcut icon, website icon, tab icon, URL icon, or bookmark icon.
As you can see the recommended size of the image that will act as a website favicon is 512×512 pixels.
